That’s exactly what the study conducted by the brand My First Years, in collaboration with Professor Bodo Winter from the University of Birmingham, set out to do.

A study reveals the ‘most beautiful’ baby boy and girl names

This study, grounded in Cognitive Linguistics, analyzed hundreds of baby names and, in October, revealed which names are considered the most “beautiful.” The findings are based on factors like iconicity, also known as “sound symbolism.”

According to the research, the most beautiful boy’s name is Zayn, closely followed by Jesse and Charlie. For girls, the names Sophia, Zoe, and Rosie were found to be the most melodious.

It’s important to note that the study was conducted in the UK and focused solely on English-language names. There’s a vast array of names in other languages and dialects, highlighting the cultural richness that exists around the world.
